After Your Microblading Procedure

Day One :

Let it heal dry as much as possible. Clean your eyebrows with clean water and followed by post care healing cream. After Inked is recommended, and some will be provided to you! Apply a THIN layer with a cotton swab, and use no aggressive movement and or manipulation of the skin. Wash your hands with a disinfectant soap before washing your eyebrows and or applying the post care cream. Multiple times throught the first couple of days, use a damp papertowel and remove any lymph fluid to prevent extra scabbing. At the end of the day, wash your brows with lukewarm water and apply after inked again.

Day Two – Ten:

Rinse and apply the post care cream (After Inked}with contton swab at least twice a day. Use no aggressive movement and or manipulation of the skin. Wash your hands with a disinfectant soap before washing your eyebrows and or applying the post care cream.

The following must be avoided during the first 10 days of post microblading procedure:

1. Increased sweating. It is recommended not to sweat (heavily) for the first 10 days after the procedure. Sweat is salt and can prematurely fade the treated area.

2. Practicing sports

3. Swimming

4. Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi

5. Sun tanning or salon tanning. Absolutely No Sun, sweating, or tanning prior to the procedure or after the procedure for 10 days. Do not have a tan/sunburn on your face prior to your procedure. The tan will exfoliate taking color with it as it fades.

6. Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and or any creams containing Retin A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck.

7. Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.

8. Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris.

9. Spicy foods. This will increase sweating.

10. Smoking

11. Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds

12. Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles

13. Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post care cream with the cotton swab

Before showering apply a layer of post care cream to protect your eyebrows from moisture. During the shower keep your face away from the showerhead.

Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post microblading procedure. However, experience has shown that by following these after care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.

The healing of deeper wounds might last between 14-21 days. Touch ups and or correction of the shape design is recommended only after this period.

If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, please contact your Microblading Artist right away!

Your new temporary eyebrow will go through several phases during the healing cycle and remeber, Microblading is a 2 STEP PROCESS! Its not complete until the 6 week perfecting session!

The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure and will continue to darken the first 7 days. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin, and has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is excess pigment and or body fluid that is naturally existing your skin.

Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.

Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly.

You can now enjoy your beautiful new microbladed eyebrows. You will simply love your new gorgeous fresh look!!!

Eyelash Extension Care

Your lash extensions are attached to your own individual eyelashes, and will shed as your natural lashes shed. (We normally shed 3 to 7 lashes every day!) Maintaining your lash extensions will require regular visits to attach new extensions (fill-in) to your own eyelashes as your eyelash growth cycle regenerates new lashes. Most growth cycles are 6 weeks or so, meaning every couple of months you have new lashes!!

With a few simple care instructions you will be on your way to enjoying your luscious long lashes. To increase the longevity of your lashes, it is advised to avoid moisture and touching as much as possible.

Before Your Appointment

• If you use waterproof mascara, avoid using it 2-3 days before your first appointment. The film it leaves on your lashes may prevent the extensions from adhering correctly.

• Arrive to your appointment with dry, clean lashes and makeup-free eyes.

• Remove contact lenses before your appointment.

During the initial 24-48 hours after your appointment

Do not get your lashes wet for 24 hours after the lash extensions are applied. It will affect the efficacy of the glue.

• Avoid steam from showers, facials, saunas and swimming pools.

• Avoid getting moisture around the eye area when washing face, showering etc.

• Avoid tanning beds for 48 hours after application.

• Avoid chemical peels, waxing or laser treatments around the eyes.

General Guidelines To Extend The Life of Your Lashes

Wash your lashes every day with the brush provided and a gentle cleanser recommended by your lash artist

• Avoid using oil-based skincare and makeup products around the eye, including mascara and makeup remover.

• Avoid waterproof mascara. If you can, it is better not to use any mascara at all. You may find you don’t even need it!

• Avoid rubbing your eyes or lashes, especially when washing your face. It is recommended to clean around the eye area with a washcloth or cotton swab (Q-tip).

• Avoid using an eyelash curler. One of the benefits of lash extensions is the ability to add curl to your lashes. If you would like more curl, please speak to your technician.

• If you can, sleep on your back to avoid the risk of lashes rubbing against your pillow.

• Gently brush your lashes with a mascara wand to groom them. The best time to do this is after showering, as they will be softer and less likely to damage but brush them daily to prevent tangling as new lashes grow in.

• Avoid pulling your lashes, and do not attempt to remove them yourself. If you would like them removed, please contact your technician.

If you experience any pain, redness or irritation, contact your technician immediately.

Tattoo Vanish Tattoo Lightening Aftercare

TATTOO VANISH®

LIGHTENING AND REMOVAL AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Bandage (if needed) that is put on immediately after procedure is to be left on NO LONGER than 2-3 hours. Area must be open to air afterwards.

2. Keep treated area clean and dry (reverse of when the tattoo was received). Any moisture or wetness to the treated area can cause the area to become infected and/or cause the scab to come off too soon which may lead to less than desirable results and scarring. This includes ANY physical activity that may cause exertion and/or sweating. Medical grade shower patches are available for purchase.

3. If treated area is below elbow or knee, elevate 10 minutes every 2 hours for three days.

4. Nothing else is allowed in the treated area, such as but not limited to makeup and ointment until healing has taken place and the expected scab has come off without interference.

5. If the treated area comes in contact with clothing that causes irritation to the treated area, cover the area as necessary for minimum amounts of time with a non-stick (Telfa) gauze or dressing. The gauze must allow the skin to breath.

6. Do not try to pick or remove the scab prematurely as this can cause scarring and less ink removal.

7. After the scab exfoliates naturally, the skin may appear pink for up to one (1) year following the removal process. Massage the area 2-3 times a day with Tattoo Vanish®Aftercare Healing Cream. Tattoo Vanish® Aftercare Healing Cream is available for purchase to aid in the healing of the “new” skin that has formed.

8. Client takes full responsibility for following Aftercare Instructions and takes full responsibility if an infection or adverse reaction occurs. If this happens it will affect the results. The technician can be of assistance and is recommended to be contacted for corrective action.

"FIBROBLAST AFTERCARE INFORMATION"

Following Fribroblast treatment, most people experience a mild burning sensation, similar to sun burn which resolves after a couple of hours. Depending upon your own sensitivity tolerance this discomfort may last a little longer. If you feel that this particularly uncomfortable anti-inflammatory medication, such as Ibuprofen can be taken (ensure that this is compatible with any other medication, prescribed or otherwise). As a natural healing response it is normal for the treated area to become inflamed, especially around the most delicate areas, such as around the eye, again this may vary dependant upon your own natural rate of recovery however, most find that the inflammation usually last just a couple of days.

Clients often find that the application of an ice pack not only soothes but also helps reduce swelling. Initially after treatment (sometimes for several days), there may be occasional weeping, this is simply part of the process and is due to the body's natural healing response mechanism.

As the treated area begins to heal, you will notice its drying out process, a brown/black crust begins to develop on the surface of the skin. The crust flakes off after a few days (sometimes longer).

DO NOT pick at the scabbed area as this can lead to infection and/or scarring! It is also important to keep the treated area clean and dry.

While outside it is advised to apply a high factor sun cream to the affected area to avoid sunburn while healing as the affected area can be affected by UV rays.

Luke warm boiled water is recommended for cleaning affected area. DO NOT use alcohol based cleansers or dress the area, this will interfere with/slow down the healing process.

Providing aftercare advice is practised, you'll soon be enjoying the benefits of your new improved look! If at anytime the treated area becomes hot, red or shows sign of an puss infection (yellow in colour) please get in touch and we can advise on the area looks to be infected, at which point you must consult with a doctor.

For optimal results, more than one treatment may be necessary. For further treatments, a six week gap or longer is necessary.
